Personality: Oscar is lively, playful, alert, loyal, strong, very responsive, active, trainable, very affectionate gentle and intelligent. he also can be reserved at times, especially when it comes to meeting the females and is naturally slow at showing or revealing his emotions and affections to them but when he does he is very affectionate and gentle and can be patient with them. he is also swift, light-footed runner and an agile, graceful jumper. just like any typical Shetland Sheepdog, he needs "mental exercise." we keep him happy and well-behaved by requiring his mental stimulation; such as advanced obedience, agility, herding, or challenging games. we play games with him, even if it's just fetching balls and finding hidden toys. he is peaceful with other animals and polite with everyone, though typically reserved and sometimes timid with strangers. his only problem, besides being reserved, is frequent brushing.
